Kicking off NYFW With Joe Zee at the 2nd State of Style Summit
We’re big Joe Zee fans. When Olivia Palermo and Erin Kaplan duked it out on national TV rose up through the ranks at Elle, we all watched with admiration as he used his charm and creativity to mentor both. We loved the playful sense of humor he showed in the summer of 2010 when he wore Chanel’s wild-looking fur suit all over New York. We cheered when he scored a TV show of his very own, “All On the Line,” which airs on Sundance.
Needless to say, we’re more than thrilled to announce that Zee will be one of the stars gracing the stage of the 92nd Street Y this Fashion Week.
That’s right: The StyleCaster State of Style Summit is coming back for a second season.
For those who missed the first go-around, the State of Style Summit unites some of the most influential leaders in the industry to discuss the future of style and new media, all at a world-renowned cultural center. Through provocative panels and dynamic conversation, we’re able to share some extremely cool insights into emerging trends across the fashion, beauty, and style spaces. In February, we hosted luminaries like Rebecca Minkoff, Lauren Bush, DKNY PR Girl, and Stacy London, who all led incredible discussions with the hundreds of people who attended. What: The 2nd semi-annual State of Style Summit

Where: 92Y, 1395 Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, NY 10128; Between 91st and 92nd Street. Due to an overwhelming response in February, the September summit will be moved to the 92Y’s uptown location:
Tickets: Tickets will go on sale in August. All proceeds from the State of Style Summit benefit 92nd Street Y.
To submit a speaker, please send the name, bio, and preferred speaking topics of your suggestion to Meghan.Cross@StyleCaster.com, with “SOSS Speaker Submission” in the subject line. Early-bird deadline for speaker submissions is July 30, 2012. Candidates submitted by this date will have a higher chance of being selected.
