Heads up! Lady Gaga wears just a hat as she goes nude for stunning Vogue shoot

She’s graced the cover of Vogue magazine once before.
So when it came to posing for the fashion bible once again, Lady Gaga had to up her game, and what better way of doing so than stripping off for the gorgeous shoot.
Gaga is seen wearing nothing but a massive pink feathered hat in the beautiful picture shot by Mert & Marcus, which appears in the pages of Vogue‘s 2012 September issue, marking the 120th anniversary of the magazine.

As well as the stunning inside shot of Gaga, the eccentric singer also graces the cover of the magazine, showing off her new afro hairdo as well as her hourglass curves in a purple Marc Jacobs gown.
The singer took to her Twitter page to give fans a sneak peek of the cover, writing this morning: ‘Im so excited to post the SEPT ISSUE OF VOGUE in 30 min! Photographed by MERT & MARCUS.’
And in the accompanying article, Gaga admitted that while she is one of the most recognizable singers in the world, she still likes having anonymous moments wherever possible.

Revealing that she still likes to ‘feel a little irresponsible and act like I’m nineteen’, Gaga said she likes to sneak into bars and dance topless, or have sex on the beach.
She added: ‘I’m a complete free spirit, so, even though you don’t see it, I still find time to have sex at night on the beach when no one’s around.
‘Or roll into a bar and get f***ed up and dance with my top off. It’s just that no one ever sees that, because I have great real friends who never let me do it when I would get caught.’
Sleek: Gaga, pictured here earlier today, has been keeping her hair relatively simple in recent weeks.
Gaga also spoke about the influence she hopes her music has on people, adding that while she doesn’t ‘make records for people to listen to and go, “Wow, she’s a genius”‘, she would ‘really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.’
The September issue of Vogue magazine hits newsstands nationwide on August 21st and will also be available as a digital download for the iPad®, Kindle Fire, NOOK Color™, and NOOK Tablet™.
